Shana Nicole Adams, PAC

Mrs. Shana N. Adams, PA-C, is a fellowship-trained Physician Assistant with a diverse background in primary care, general surgery, and hospital medicine. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University in North Carolina and her undergraduate biology degree with a minor in Spanish from Wingate University as well. Mrs. Adams is certified as a Physician Assistant and is proficient in both English and Spanish. Her professional experience includes working as a primary care advanced practice provider fellow at Atrium Health Primary Care-Eastridge Family Medicine, where she enhanced her knowledge through a 12-month clinical training program. She has also worked at UNC Health Appalachian as a General Surgery Physician Assistant, conducting comprehensive patient assessments and assisting in various surgeries. Mrs. Adams has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care, consistently performing at or above system-wide primary care provider goals. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and traveling.
