Shaina Jayde Arellano, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University and her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Arellano is a U.S. Army Veteran who served as a Sergeant in the Military Intelligence Corp from 2006 to 2012. She served two consecutive tours in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2009 to 2010. Mrs. Arellano then became a registered nurse and completed the critical care nurse residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2015. Her nursing background includes adult critical care with a special focus on liver and kidney transplant and surgical patients. With a desire to serve her community in a higher capacity, Mrs. Arellano became a nurse practitioner and has been providing high-quality primary care for patients in north Texas since 2020. Passionate about senior care, she believes time spent listening to patients is vital to improving their health and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys making memories with her family, baking, and engaging in activities that promote exercise, nutrition, and heart health.
