Scott E Thompson, APRN

Scott Thompson, APRN, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Mr. Thompson earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri with a GPA of 3.8. He obtained Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Missouri Western State College, where he received the Regents Scholarship for academic excellence. Mr. Thompson's outstanding contributions to nursing were recognized with the Missouri Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award in 2005 and the Clinical Nurse Manager Leadership Award in 2012. Before CenterWell, Mr. Thompson spent two years each at Aspire Palliative Care and AdventHealth Primary Care, committed to providing comprehensive care for older adults with multiple health conditions. He approaches patient care with a team-oriented mindset, fostering discussions and planning with professionalism, compassion, and light-heartedness. Inspired by his grandmother, a nurse's aide whom he deeply respected, Mr. Thompson chose a career in healthcare to honor her legacy. Despite most of his family passing on, he carries their memory with him. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, watching movies and Netflix, and cherishing quality time with friends.
