Sathyadevi R Sista, MD

Dr. Sathyadevi Rajyalakshmi Sista, MD, is a family medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience providing comprehensive primary care for adults and older adults. She earned her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in Andhra Pradesh, India, and completed her Family Medicine Residency training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and the University of Massachusetts Hospitals. Throughout her career, Dr. Sista provided patient-centered family medicine care in California, Texas, and Arizona, including many years in private practice. She also served as a medical director, participated in peer review activities, and taught medical students and residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Passionate about brain health, caregiving, diabetes, exercise, and heart health, Dr. Sista believes in a holistic approach to care, emphasizing healthy lifestyles, patient education, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their health. Having cared for older adults throughout her career, she is dedicated to listening closely to her patients and helping them achieve their health goals. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
