Sarah Hanshaw, APRN

Mrs. Sarah Jane Hanshaw, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in primary and adult care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University, where she also became a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Mrs. Hanshaw has provided care across family medicine, urgent care, and home-based visit settings, including years of experience supporting Medicare patients through in home clinical assessments. She previously served in pediatric and hospital nursing roles, including charge nurse leadership and participation in hospital-wide committees, and she spent a decade caring for seniors in their homes to support independence and health goal attainment. Guided by a philosophy of empowering patients through accurate information and continuous learning, she is passionate about heart health, obesity, and LGBTQ+ health. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, live music and comedy, outdoor adventures, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
