Sara Sajid, MD

Sara Sajid, MD, is an internal medicine and geriatric medicine specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for adults and older populations. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Aga Khan University Medical College and completed her internal medicine residency at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, followed by a geriatric medicine fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Sajid brought more than two decades of experience managing complex medical conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and nursing home settings, with a strong focus on brain health, diabetes, and cardiovascular care. Her work included leadership roles in academic medicine, where she mentored medical students, residents, and interdisciplinary teams while contributing to curriculum development and clinical education. Guided by a philosophy rooted in compassion and dedication, she emphasized preventive care and holistic approaches to improve quality of life for seniors. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sajid enjoyed spending time outdoors, listening to music, and going to the movies.
