Sara Ishaq, MD

Dr. Sara Ishaq, MD, is an Internal Medicine Physician who brings a warm, patient centered approach to care. Originally from New York City, she completed her medical degree at UNIBE in the Dominican Republic and her internal medicine residency at Flushing Hospital. Dr. Ishaq is passionate about supporting patients through all stages of adulthood and believes in building trusting, collaborative relationships that help individuals achieve their health goals. She enjoys getting to know her patients as people first, understanding that each person's story informs their care. Outside of medicine, she loves spending time with her husband and their young daughter, Aleesa, as well as traveling, cooking, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
