Dr. Sahin Coban, MD, is a highly accomplished gastroenterologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical research. He earned his medical degree from Ankara University School of Medicine in Turkey and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the same institution. Dr. Coban further specialized with a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Charleston Area Medical Center, WVU, WV, and a Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of North Dakota. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Coban has held significant roles, including Research Coordinator at Mount Auburn Hospital, Harvard University, and Research Scholar at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His clinical experience includes serving as an Attending Internist at Diskapi Yildirim Beyazit Education and Research Hospital in Ankara, Turkey, where he also held leadership positions such as Clinical Director of the Gastroenterology Division. Dr. Coban's dedication to geriatric care is evident through his fellowship training and his work managing chronic conditions in elderly patients. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and traveling.
