Ruth Ann Adell, DO

Dr. Ruth Adell, DO, MBA, is a family medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience caring for adults and older adults. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, and later completed an MBA with a healthcare administration focus at Baylor University. Throughout her career, Dr. Adell provided family medicine care, served in medical leadership roles, supported quality improvement initiatives, and guided provider engagement and development programs. She led clinics, mentored clinicians and medical students, taught professional development and patient care topics, and contributed to healthcare operations and patient experience initiatives. Passionate about helping patients age successfully, she focused on preserving function, independence, dignity, and quality of life while partnering with patients and families in shared decision-making. Dr. Adell entered healthcare to build meaningful connections, solve complex problems, and serve others. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, designing jewelry, and writing.
