Rosemarie Estacio Carandang, APRN

Rosemarie Carandang, FNP, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. Carandang earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Charles Drew University/Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing in Los Angeles, California. Having been a practicing physician in her native Philippines, Ms. Carandang has always regarded nursing as a noble profession, valuing the opportunity to contribute to a person's healing. To her, the right provider-patient relationship offers a personalized, quality approach to healthcare. To ensure patient satisfaction, she believes in treating patients like her family, with respect and genuine care. Years in the acute care setting in hospitals and outpatient care clinics have honed her ability to provide a compassionate, culturally sensitive, competent, and respectful approach to patient care. Her clinical exposure to diabetes management has also equipped her with knowledge in managing one of the chronic illnesses that affect about 9.4% of the U.S. population. All these experiences have helped her provide high-quality primary care to older adults. Outside of her work, she enjoys watching news and TV programs, playing guitar, and singing.
