Robert Michael Russ, MD

Dr. Robert Michael Russ, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his internal medicine residency at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI, named chief resident. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Michigan State University. His accolades include the Compassionate Doctor Award, the Top Doctor Award by Desert Companion Nevada, and the Quality Award of Excellence from Intermountain Healthcare. He has contributed to community health through educational 'Doc Talks' and teaching evidence-based medicine to nurse practitioners. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Russ was an outpatient physician with Intermountain Healthcare in Pahrump, NV, and previously served as medical director of Applewood Nursing Center in Woodhaven, MI. His experience includes roles at Beaumont Health System and Oakwood Healthcare in Wyandotte, MI, and as a partner of Wyandotte Internal Medicine private practice. Dr. Russ is dedicated to older adults and believes taking the time to listen is vital to enhancing their health and well-being. Outside of work, he enjoys exercise and advocates for an active lifestyle.
