Robert L Herman, MD

Dr. Robert Lee Herman, MD, FACC, is a highly experienced Cardiologist with more than three decades of clinical and academic expertise in cardiovascular medicine. He completed his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College and his residency and cardiology fellowship at Wright-Patterson Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Throughout his distinguished career—including nine years of service as a physician officer in the United States Air Force—Dr. Herman has held numerous leadership roles, directed cardiac catheterization programs, and served as a faculty member training medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. He brings extensive experience caring for seniors and supporting cardiologists across multiple hospital systems, with a special commitment to heart health and patient-centered care. His philosophy centers on providing optimal, compassionate care that allows patients to feel confident and supported in every decision. Outside of work, he enjoys playing clarinet and saxophone, tennis, pickleball, and spending time with family.
