Robert Klaasen, MD

Dr. Robert Vernon Klaasen, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his family medicine residency at Franciscan Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Klassen earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, reflecting his high standing in his medical school class. Holding a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry with a 4.0 GPA from Indiana Wesleyan University, he served on the teaching staff of the Franciscan family medicine residency for 21 years. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Klaasen managed Central Indiana Medical Group in Greenwood, IN, since 1999 and previously provided immediate care and family medicine services at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. With a dedication to the well-being of older adults, he collaborates with his patients to prevent issues that could disrupt their life plans or help them adapt. Dr. Klaasen chose medicine driven by a deep sense of purpose, and he sees his work as a family physician as a ministry that embodies compassion and love. In his free time, Dr. Klaasen enjoys physical training, coaching sports teams, and participating in mission trips.
