Dr. Richard Scott Hoffer, MD, is a physician with a deep commitment to listening closely and understanding each patient's story as the foundation for effective care. He earned his medical degree and built a career shaped by service, mentorship, and a lifelong dedication to health and fitness. Dr. Hoffer served as a division psychiatrist for the 3rd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army in Würzburg, Germany, bringing clinical expertise to complex and high responsibility environments. His work has focused on addressing the epidemic of metabolic disease through education, prevention, and empowering patients to make sustainable lifestyle changes. Passionately involved in fitness and bodybuilding since the age of 14, he continues to prioritize strength, movement, and healthy aging well into his seventies.
