Caring for older adults is a privilege. Listening is an important part of the care I provide patients. I believe listening to patients is important for their health and well-being. I chose to work in medicine to help people live healthier lives. I went to the Medical College at the University of Calicut in Kerala, India. After, I did my internship and residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. I helped write research shared at a conference about stomach and digestive health. I was a primary care doctor at Kinson Community Health Center in North Carolina. I also helped veterans at the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System in Upstate New York, where I took care of about 1,200 veterans. Plus, I spent 10 years in Bangalore, India, helping with internal medicine care and setting up quality standards. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking new recipes and being outside.
