Dr. Regi Jose Vadassery has joined CenterWell as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. Vadassery earned her medical degree from the Medical College, University of Calicut in Kerala, India, and completed her internal medicine internship and residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. She co-authored research presented at the Annual Meeting of Gastroenterology in Seattle, Washington. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Vadassery was a primary care physician at the federally qualified Kinson Community Health Center in North Carolina and, earlier, with the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, providing care to a panel of 1200 veterans in Upstate New York. For ten years, she served as a consultant physician with three organizations in Bangalore, India, providing care in all areas of internal medicine and helping to create and establish quality standards. Dr. Vadassery feels privileged to care for older adults. She believes listening to her patients is vital to enhancing their health and well-being, a care philosophy aligned with CenterWell's values. Dr. Vadassery chose a career in medicine to help people live healthier lives. Outside of work, she relishes precious moments with her family, the joys of cooking, and immersing herself in the splendors of the great outdoors.
