Ravinder Raj Dawke, M.D.

Originally from India, Ravinder Raj Dawke, MD is a board-certified primary care doctor who was recently hired at CenterWell in Wildflower, AZ. He speaks English, Hindi and Telugu, and has been working in healthcare for 18 years. “Excellent health is the best gift in life, and I’d like to give this gift to anybody and everybody when possible,” he says. For Dr. Dawke, preventive care, chronic disease management and educating patients on self-management of chronic diseases are the most enjoyable aspects of his work.

Dr. Dawke is passionate about delivering value in healthcare, and strives to improve the health of his patients. “My previous experience as a front-line Primary Care Physician for 18 years and being a Physician Coach and leader in previous roles will help me guide my team to provide high quality patient care with an excellent patient experience,” he adds.

Dr. Dawke earned his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India, and successfully completed a three-year Family Medicine residency at State University of New York in Buffalo, where he attained Chief Resident status. He also worked as a Primary Care Physician at Yavapai County Community Health Centers for over seven years, and as a Medical Director at Cigna Medical Group in Phoenix, AZ – where for the last seven-and-a half years, 90% of his patients were seniors.

According to Dawke, the ideal doctor-patient relationship is based on trust and transparency, and ensuring patient satisfaction means taking the time to listen to his patients, treat them as family members, and work together as a team.

On a personal note, Dr. Dawke has been married to his wife of 15 years, and has two boys, ages 13 and 8. He is proud to be a Family Medicine Physician, and says that optimism is always guaranteed to make him smile!
