Raina Winfrey, MD

Raina Winfrey, MD, is a family medicine physician with more than two decades of experience caring for adults and seniors across primary care, post acute, long term care, assisted living, and hospice settings. She completed her family practice residency at Riverside Family Practice Residency Program in Newport News, Virginia, after earning her medical degree from The Ohio State University. Throughout her career, Dr. Winfrey has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including medical director positions in assisted living, post acute care, and hospice organizations. Her approach to care emphasizes dignity, compassion, and individualized attention, embracing a culture of caring for people regardless of age or circumstance. She is especially passionate about brain health and supporting patients through transitions of care, end of life planning, and complex medical decision making. Dr. Winfrey values building trusting relationships and believes that listening carefully is central to improving quality of life and health outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and crafting.
