Rachael Kathleen Agbonhese, MD

Dr. Rachael Kathleen Agbonhese, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed her family medicine residency at Wright State Boonshoft School of Medicine in Fairborn, Ohio, in 2021. Dr. Agbonhese earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, where she engaged in independent and collaborative laboratory studies involving breast and prostate cancer cells and published original research. She earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana, distinguished with the University Primary Care Scholarship Award. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Agbonhese was a family medicine specialist with Conviva and, previously, the Community Health Network in Indianapolis. Dedicated to the well-being of seniors, she's a strong advocate for health education, independence, evidence-based care, and ensuring her patients feel valued, informed, and in control of their healthcare choices. With a love for science and human connections, Dr. Agbonhese chose medicine to help others. She cherishes quality time with her family and enjoys volunteering, reading, gardening, and lifelong learning.
