Onyeije W Ozurumba, MD

Dr. Onyeije W. Ozurumba, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive care to diverse populations. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine and completed his residency at VCU Riverside Family Medicine Residency in Newport News, Virginia. Dr. Ozurumba has served in various clinical roles across Virginia, including CVHS Hopewell–Prince George Community Health Center, MedExpress Urgent Care, Patient First–Carytown, Chippenham Family Medicine, and Ironbridge Family Practice. His experience spans urgent care, primary care, and outpatient family medicine. Prior to his medical career, he served as an Operating Room Specialist in the U.S. Army, gaining valuable surgical and clinical experience at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Fort Meade. He has received multiple academic and military honors and is an active member of both the American and Virginia Academies of Family Physicians. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ozurumba enjoys sports, cultural events, and spending time with family.
