Dr. Nestor Nazareno, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Services, Queens Hospital Center in Jamaica, NY, in 1995. Dr. Nazareno earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas College of Medicine and Surgery in Manila, the Philippines, in 1989, following a B.S. in Biology from the same institution. His clinical training included a rotating internship at Santo Tomas University Hospital. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Nazareno was an internal medicine primary care physician in Surprise, AZ, and earlier, an acute care hospitalist with Sunrise Medical in Peoria, AZ. His commitment to internal medicine is evident through his long-standing hospital affiliations, which include Banner Del E Webb and Banner Boswell Medical Centers. Passionate about heart health, diabetes, and addressing loneliness among seniors, he believes in treating patients with the same dedication he would invest in those closest to him. Dr. Nazareno chose medicine out of a deep care for seniors and a desire to safeguard their quality of life. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, family gatherings, and exploring the outdoors.
