Nana Yaa Serwaa Addai, APRN

Nana Yaa S. Addai, DNP, AGNP-C, CDIP, a doctorally prepared, board-certified adult-gerontological nurse practitioner, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a study of pain management in older adults. She received her B.S. in Nursing from Capital University in Bexley, Ohio, as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Addai was an adult-gerontological nurse practitioner with Optum/United Health Group in a long-term care facility treating acute conditions and managing chronic diseases. She previously worked as an occupational health nurse practitioner and medical-surgical nurse with UNC Healthcare and also held positions as an RN in the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Ohio and the ICU step-down unit at Cone Health System in North Carolina. Ms. Addai chose healthcare out of a passion for helping others. An avid volunteer, she provides annual free health screenings and health advice to the community through her church. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, sewing, gardening, and traveling.
