Naja Thomas, MD

Naja Thomas, MD, MPH, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, hospice, and geriatric medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University. Dr. Thomas completed her residency in Family Medicine at Halifax Health in Daytona Beach, FL. Her career spans outpatient and inpatient care, hospice leadership, and teaching as an Assistant Professor at Texas Christian University School of Medicine. She has served as a medical director for hospice and memory care facilities and managed diverse patient populations through concierge and hospitalist roles. Guided by her belief that listening to patients is key to improving their quality of life, Dr. Thomas is passionate about diabetes management, heart health, and caregiving. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family.
