Muhammad Sameer Sohel, DO

Dr. Muhammad S. Sohel is a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Sohel completed his family medicine residency at AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center in Hinsdale, IL, named family medicine co-chief resident. He earned his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Sohel was a hospitalist with Advent Health. He believes in taking the time to listen to patients and developing a healthcare goal together and defines the right doctor-patient relationship as one where patients have an equal say in their healthcare. His care philosophy is to treat every patient like his own family. Dr. Sohel thrives from seeing others do well and enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life. He has mentored underprivileged children at Higher M-Pact in Kansas City, MO, and spent a week in El Salvador, providing free medical care to the local community. Since 2015, he has volunteered at the American Muslim Community Clinic in Longwood, FL. Outside of his work, Dr. Sohel enjoys making memories with friends and family, especially his young son, playing basketball, riding bicycles, and hiking on trails.
