Morteza G Mashkouri, MD

Dr. Morteza Mashkouri joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Mashkouri completed his family medicine residency at the University of Illinois and OSF St. Frances Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He received his medical degree, With Honors, from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences Faculty of Medicine in Tabriz, Iran, in 1973. Dr. Mashkouri is fluent in both English and Farsi. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Mashkouri credits CenterWell's senior-focused healthcare model as helping his patients understand their health so that they can have longer, healthier lives. What he likes the most about being a physician is seeing a smile on the face of a patient who's been told is doing well. He believes that the right doctor-patient relationship is based on maintaining good communication. Dr. Mashkouri is a father of two and enjoys running or jogging in his time off.
