Mohammad Amin Zaman, MD

Dr. Mohammad Amin Zaman, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than 35 years of experience caring for adults and older adults. He earned his MBBS degree from the Institute of Post Graduate Medicine and Research in Dhaka, Bangladesh, completed internal medicine training in New York, and pursued a clinical research fellowship in hypertension at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Throughout his career, Dr. Zaman provided primary care, post-acute care, hospital medicine, and long-term care services in a variety of clinical settings, including veterans' healthcare, skilled nursing facilities, home-based primary care programs, and community medical practices. He also served in multiple medical director and leadership roles, helping improve care delivery for complex patient populations. Dr. Zaman has a special interest in hypertension, diabetes, heart health, and obesity management and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications in cardiovascular and hypertension research. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and going to the movies.
