Melissa Elizabeth Smith, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the State University of New York, Oneonta, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Dallas College. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Smith worked as a family nurse practitioner with Valley Oaks Medical Group in Fort Worth, Texas. Previously, she was a family nurse practitioner with LT Men's Clinic in Colleyville and Premier Wellness Clinics in Frisco, Texas. 'Providing supportive and compassionate care has allowed me to make a meaningful difference in someone's life every day,” stated Ms. Smith. “Caring for seniors has the added benefit of working with people with a lifetime of experiences and knowledge to share that broaden one's perspective,' she added. Ms. Smith entered the healthcare profession because it offers countless opportunities and for the immense privilege of improving people's lives. In her free time, she enjoys making new memories with her family and the outdoors.
