Megan Francesca Butler, MD

Megan Francesca Butler, M.D., is a Family Medicine physician with extensive experience caring for adults and seniors in both urban and rural settings. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed her Family Medicine residency at East Jefferson General Hospital. Dr. Butler has served as a staff physician in multiple primary care practices, providing preventive care, chronic disease management, and transitional care for patients, with a strong focus on seniors' health. She has also held leadership roles and contributed to quality improvement initiatives, while serving as an adjunct faculty member at Tulane University, mentoring medical students and developing innovative teaching methods. Outside of work, Dr. Butler enjoys chasing her active daughter, reading and expanding her TBR list, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
