May Melyn Galbreath, APRN

Dr. May Melyn Galbreath, PhD, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with clinical experience spanning primary care, behavioral health, cardiovascular medicine, and research. She earned her Master of Nursing from Vanderbilt University and holds a PhD in Exercise, Nutrition & Preventive Health from Baylor University. Dr. Galbreath has provided care in diverse settings including outpatient clinics, home health, long-term care, correctional facilities, and international hospitals. Her roles have included psychiatric care at Centerstone, conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments with Matrix Medical Network, geriatric primary care with Housecall Today, and research leadership at the Institute for Exercise and Environmental Medicine. She has also served as an educator and mentor, contributing to clinical training and quality improvement initiatives. Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Galbreath is a certified health coach and trained chef, with a passion for wellness, nutrition, and holistic care.
