She's receivedresearch grants and produced multimedia programs focused onhealth andmedical education.Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Manis practiced medicine in Texas for 29 years, including at SHSU Physicians ClinicinConroe, TX, andat the Lufkin VA Clinic. She was also medical director at Lufkin State Supported Living Centerand Family Care Center in Corpus Christi. Her care philosophy in treating seniors focuses on helpingpatients make healthier choices that will help keep them happy and healthy.Dr. Manis chose medicine tomake a difference in people's lives by helping them put their health first.
