Dr. Mary Elizabeth Manis joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine physician. She completed her training at the Corpus Christi Family Practice Residency Program after earning her medical degree from UTMB in Galveston and an M.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Houston. She was an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Shes received research grants and produced multimedia programs focused on health and medical education. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Manis practiced medicine in Texas for 29 years, including at SHSU Physicians Clinic in Conroe, TX, and at the Lufkin VA Clinic. She was also medical director at Lufkin State Supported Living Center and Family Care Center in Corpus Christi. Her care philosophy in treating seniors focuses on helping patients make healthier choices that will help keep them happy and healthy. Dr. Manis chose medicine to make a difference in peoples lives by helping them put their health first. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with family.
