Angie Smith, APRN

Ms. Mary Angela 'Angie' Smith, MSN, APRN, specializes in family medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner from the University of Kentucky. Ms. Smith brought more than 15 years of experience providing primary care for adults and older adults, managing acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, diabetes, nutrition, and wellness. She practiced in family medicine and primary care settings throughout Kentucky, helping patients improve their health through education and tailored disease management. In addition to her clinical work, she became board certified in functional medicine, served as a medical editor for a scuba diving organization, and published the book Confessions of a Primary Care Provider in 2025. Ms. Smith believes in treating patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment she would invest in those closest to her. She entered healthcare to make a difference in people's lives by helping them put their health first and is especially passionate about patient education, nutrition, and disease management. Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, boating, and writing.
