Dr. Mark Steven Gottlieb, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his family medicine residency at ChristianaCare, Wilmington, DE, in 1993, serving as chief resident. Dr. Gottlieb earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990. He received an MBA in Finance at La Salle University in 2002 and a B.A. in Physics from Temple University in 1986. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Gottlieb held leadership positions, including chief medical officer at Universal Health Services, regional medical director at UPMC Pinnacle, medical director at Wellmed Medical Management, and roles as a primary care and staff physician. Dr. Gottlieb also served as vice president of Clinical Affairs at Pennside Partners from 2002 to 2010 and was the owner and lead physician of Greater Northeast Family Practice from 1994 to 2002. He believes in empowering older adults through education and active participation in their healthcare. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, painting, travel photography, and spending time with his family.
