Marilou Sadicon Sorensen, APRN

Marilou Sorensen, MSN, FNP–C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, from Grand Canyon University in 2022, her BSN from Augsburg College in 2017 and her ADN from Minneapolis Community & Technical College in 2015. She was in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa of Nursing induction and appeared on the Dean's List multiple times. Before joining our center in 2023, Mrs. Sorensen practiced at Cano Health in Las Vegas. Earlier, she was an RN at Honor Health Deer Valley Medical Center in Phoenix, gaining experience in trauma and orthopedic/medical-surgical remote telemetry and Methodist Hospital in Minnesota, both in the Orthopedic surgical floor and nursing home settings. With an affinity for older adults and passion for addressing diabetes and heart health, her approach is holistic, and she feels a smile can go a long way. She believes in empowering her patients and Care Team through comprehensive information and continual learning. Mrs. Sorensen chose healthcare to be able to help others and serve her community. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and creating memories with family.
