Maria Solis-Colegate, MD

Dr. Maria Margaret Solis-Colegate, MD, is a family medicine physician dedicated to caring for adults and older adults. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Solis-Colegate brings more than seven years of experience serving as a primary care physician in an underserved Indiana community, where she focused on improving access to quality care. Her background also includes work as a certified nurse aide and home health aide, providing hands-on support to older adults while pursuing her education. She participated in palliative care, hospice, and global health programs and volunteered as a physician serving uninsured patients. Dr. Solis-Colegate believes listening carefully to patients is essential to improving health and quality of life, and she is especially passionate about supporting seniors and safeguarding their well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and listening to music.
