Maria G Montanez, APRN

Ms. Maria Montanez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, specialized in family practice and cardiology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Tampa, Florida, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Puerto Rico. With more than 10 years of clinical experience, she provided advanced care in internal medicine and cardiology, including cardiac consultations, diagnostic testing, and management of complex cardiac conditions. Her roles included serving as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and Hunters Creek Medical Associates, where she delivered comprehensive care and mentored nurse practitioner students. She also worked extensively in cardiac catheterization labs and served as a preceptor for graduate nursing programs. Guided by her philosophy of helping patients make healthier choices to stay happy and healthy, she is passionate about heart health and improving quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music, going to the movies, and spending time outdoors.
