Manuel Lazaro Falcon Valdes, FNP, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned his Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Savannah, GA, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico. Earlier, he was awarded a medical degree with a specialization in clinical ophthalmology at the University of Medical Sciences of Matanzas, Cuba, and received the prestigious Gold Title Award. He worked for two years as a primary care physician in Venezuela and then relocated to the U.S. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mr. Falcon Valdes was a family nurse practitioner at Navigation Medical Center and Panamericana Family Medicine Clinic and as an RN at Gramercy Outpatient Surgery, New Horizon Hospital, and Consultorio Medico Jones in Houston, TX. Passionate about heart health, exercise, nutrition, and tackling loneliness, his experience in home healthcare provided vital insights into older adults' unique needs. He feels taking the time to listen is vital for improving overall well-being. Mr. Falcon Valdes chose healthcare to make a difference. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, performing music, and volunteering.
