Mais Alnoukari, MD

PROVIDER WILL BE LEAVING CENTERWELL ON JANUARY 29TH, 2025. Dr. Mais Alnoukari, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, earned her medical degree from Al-Baath University Faculty of Medicine and served a dermatology residency at Damascus Hospital in Syria. Alnoukari then completed the UTRGV Internal Medicine Residency at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX, and was a research fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Her article on rheumatology appeared in PubMed, and she has co-authored articles published in medical journals such as the American Journal of Gastroenterology. She has presented her research at events such as the Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and the South Texas ACP Conference. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Alnoukari practiced internal medicine with the Harlingen VA Outpatient Clinic in Harlingen, TX, and obtained a Certificate of Excellence from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Alnoukari chose medicine to impact people's lives positively. She volunteers with organizations such as the Best Medical Care Center in Queens, NY. Outside of her work, she likes to spend time with her family and travel to experience different cultures.
