Madison C. Talton, APRN

Madison C. Talton, a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2020, receiving the UAB Outstanding Student Award. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University. She began her career as a nurse practitioner working with the Pulmonary Critical Care team at the University of Alabama of Birmingham. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Talton was a co-lead advanced practice provider with the Pulmonary Medicine team at Wellstar Medical group. Prior to her career as a nurse practitioner, she works as a bedside nurse in the Heart and Lung Transplant ICU, Cardiovascular ICU and Thoracic Surgery units. Committed to patient education, she believes in a collaborative approach to healthcare, especially when treating seniors. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, family time, and the outdoors.
