Luis Hernandez Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Luis Hernandez Rodriguez has joined CenterWell as a physician specializing in internal and family medicine. He earned his medical degree in 1999 from the Medical University of Villa Clara, Cuba. He was a general physician at the Ranchuelo Policlinic before completing a family medicine residency at the Placetas North Policlinic in Villa Clara. Dr. Hernandez Rodriguez then became a First Degree Specialist in Comprehensive Medicine at Placetas North Policlinic and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Provincial General Hospital in Santa Clara. He was the Internal Medicine Service doctor-in-chief at Placetas General Hospital for four years. He completed an internship at La Concepcion Hospital in San German, Puerto Rico, in 2022. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Hernandez Rodriguez was a primary care physician with Urban Health in Clermont, Florida. Dr. Hernandez Rodriguez loves working with older adults, befriending, and serving them while learning from their knowledge and experiences. He believes in providing individualized, compassionate, evidence-based care to seniors respecting his patients' values and preferences, which is a care philosophy perfectly aligned with CenterWell's values. Dr. Hernandez Rodriguez chose a healthcare career because he holds a warm place in his heart for seniors and desires to help safeguard their quality of life.
