Luis Alfredo Gonzalez, MD

Luis A. Gonzalez, M.D.,?is board-certified through the American Board of Family Practice, ABFM. Dr. Gonzalez completed a residency in social medicine family practice at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. He served an internship at San Juan de Dios Hospital in Santa Ana, El Salvador. He earned his medical and undergraduate degrees from the Evangelical University of El Salvador in San Salvador, El Salvador. Dr. Gonzalez is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the Texas Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the Cameron-Willacy County Medical Society. Dr. Gonzalez practiced family medicine focusing on senior healthcare at WellMed Medical Group, P.A., from 2018. He maintained a private solo practice (no OB), Luis A. Gonzalez, M.O., P.A., Family Practice from 2002 to 2018. His clinical experience also includes wound healing and hyperbaric medicine at the Wound Center at Knapp Medical Center and the Wound Healing Center at Harlingen Medical Center. He has also seen patients at San Benito Medical Associates, Inc., a family medicine group practice in San Benito, Texas. Dr. Gonzalez enjoys reading and science.
