Loreli R Munford, MD

Dr. Loreli Robin Munford, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed an Urgent Care/EM fellowship at the University of Illinois following internships at the Medical College of Virginia and Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Munford earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, her Master of Health Care Administration & Management from Colorado State University, and a B.S. in Microbiology and Chemistry from Howard University. Her research has been published in the Journal of the National Medical Association. Her accolades include recognition by the Dorn VAMC, the Golden Key National Honor Society, a SOAR Research University Grant, and as an NHSC Scholar. Dr. Munford practiced in various capacities in Primary Care Clinics, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, as well as having provided Women's Care and Telemedicine services. Her experience with seniors shaped her belief in treating patients as she would like to be treated and empowering them through education. She has volunteered for youth programs and health ministries, finding fulfillment in giving back to the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing poetry, and playing the piano.
