Dr. Lisa Cash, board-certified family medicine physician, earned her medical degree from the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston in 2001, subsequently relocating from Texas to complete residency at Chesterfield Family Practice in Richmond, Virginia in 2004 . Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Cash saw patients with Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group in West Point, VA for over 18 years. During this time she also evaluated and treated complex wounds at Sentara Wound Healing Center and Bon Secours Wound Care Centers. Dr. Cash has been recognized for her high-quality diabetes care by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Dr. Cash's passion for improving people's lives through healthcare aligns with her affinity for older adults and her focus on both physical and mental health, exercise, social connections, and preventive care. She is passionate about empowering patients to improve their health through lifestyle modification and recently became certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. When she is not in clinic, Dr. Cash enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
