Dr. Lisa Cash, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed her residency at Chesterfield Family Practice in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Cash earned her medical degree from the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, summa cum laude, from Texas State University. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Cash saw patients with Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group and volunteered with the Virginia Department of Health to help administer COVID-19 vaccines. While at TPMG, Dr. Cash concurrently saw patients at Sentara Wound Healing Center and Bon Secours Wound Care Centers. She has been recognized for her high-quality diabetes care by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Dr. Cash's passion for improving people's lives through healthcare aligns with her affinity for older adults and her focus on heart health, exercise, and addressing social isolation. She is dedicated to personal growth, having completed courses like Dare to Lead by Brene Brown and developing a meditation practice through mindfulness-based stress reduction. Outside of her work, she enjoys reading, needlework, and spending time with her family.
