Levonne Marie Mitchell-Samon, MD

Levonne Mitchell-Samon, MD, pursued a career in medicine inspired by her father's dedication to helping those in need of medical care. She graduated from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Florida Health, Shands Hospital. Dr. Mitchell-Samon is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in primary care, focusing on patient-centered approaches to improve health outcomes. She enjoys working with patients to make small, impactful changes and considers herself a partner in their health journey. Her work experience includes extensive involvement in geriatric care, where she has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of older adults. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Mitchell-Samon has a passion for music, particularly singing and songwriting, and enjoys exploring new places.
