Lela Johnson, MD

Dr. Lela Johnson, MD, FACP, is an Internal Medicine Physician with 30 years of clinical experience caring for adults across a wide range of health needs. Originally from Pikeville, Kentucky, she earned her undergraduate degree from Pikeville College before completing her medical education at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Johnson is dedicated to partnering with patients to help them live healthy, productive lives—combining decades of clinical experience with a strong commitment to preventive care and patient centered decision making. She values understanding what matters most to each individual and incorporating those priorities into their care plan. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, exploring new places, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband, two grown children, and three grandchildren.
