Leila Olivera, MD

Dr. Leila R. Olivera, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with experience delivering compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York. Dr. Olivera has served in a variety of clinical settings, including Kaiser Permanente, the VA Southeast, and Intermountain Health, where she provided comprehensive primary care, chronic disease management, and dermatologic procedures. She is known for her dedication to patient safety, preventive care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Olivera has also contributed to global health through medical missions and emergency relief work, including service in Haiti and the Philippines. Outside of medicine, she enjoys writing and has published a memoir reflecting on her humanitarian experiences.
