Lawrence M Gibbs, MD

Dr. Lawrence M. Gibbs, MD, MSEd, FAAFP, is a highly accomplished Family Medicine specialist with extensive experience in medical education and clinical practice. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency at Saint Louis University Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gibbs is board-certified in Family Medicine and holds a Master of Science in Education. His career includes serving as the founding Program Director at HCA Healthcare Kansas City, where he developed and implemented curriculum for the Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Gibbs has also held faculty positions at multiple institutions, including the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine and Texas A&M College of Medicine. His clinical practice spans comprehensive primary care, preventive care, and chronic disease management, with a focus on geriatric care. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Gibbs enjoys the outdoors and spending time with family.
