Laura Cloukey, DO

Dr. Laura Therese Cloukey, DO, FACP, is an internal medicine physician with more than three decades of experience in adult and senior primary care. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency and chief medical residency training through Boston University at Caritas/Carney Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Cloukey has practiced ambulatory primary care while also serving in extensive leadership and educational roles, including years as a medical director and mentor to physicians, nurse practitioners, and interprofessional learners. Her work has emphasized full risk, value based primary care, program development, and advancing medical education through partnerships with academic institutions. She believes deeply in empowering patients and care teams through accurate information, continuous learning, and shared decision making. Dr. Cloukey has a strong commitment to safeguarding the quality of life of seniors and is particularly passionate about heart health and the role of exercise in healthy aging. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors.
