Lara Wear Moody, MD

Dr. Lara Moody, M.D., is a Family Medicine Physician with extensive experience in urgent care, outpatient clinics, and community health settings. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, after transferring from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada due to Hurricane Ivan. Dr. Moody completed her residency in Family Medicine at Concord Hospital in New Hampshire, where she provided comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Her career includes roles at VA Medical Center, Medcare Urgent Care, Dartmouth Hitchcock, and various locum tenens positions across the U.S., serving diverse populations including geriatric patients and Native American communities. She has also contributed to nursing home care, hospice, and telemedicine services. Dr. Moody has held leadership roles, participated in quality improvement initiatives, and delivered community presentations on health topics. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading books, spending time with family, and planting flowers.
