Kristin Coley Smith, APRN

Kristin Coley Smith, NP-C, RN, a board-certified nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University in 2020, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2017, an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from South College, Asheville School of Nursing in 2015, and an Associate of Science from York Technical College in 2013. Ms. Smith's professional experience includes roles as a nurse practitioner with Telos Health Services and GAPS Health, Inc., and earlier as director of nursing of WNC Baptist Retirement Home, travel nurse with Cross Country Healthcare, and clinical supervisor at Asheville Specialty Hospital. She also has a background in residential counseling and support for individuals with disabilities. Her passion for caregiving and addressing food insecurity, loneliness, and socialization reflects her work with older adults in long-term care. Ms. Smith chose healthcare driven by a dedication to seniors and to their well-being. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, family gatherings, and travel.
