Kerling Israel, MD

Kerling Israel, MD, specializes in family medicine. She earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Université d'Etat d'Haïti Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmarcie and also completed a Master of Public Health at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Israel provided comprehensive primary care and dedicated much of her career to medical education, residency training, and healthcare program development. She served as Senior Advisor for Medical Education, Director of Medical Education, and Founding Director of a Family Medicine Residency Program in Haiti, helping establish graduate medical education systems and mentoring physicians in training. She also contributed to research and published articles focused on family medicine and global health. Dr. Israel believes that taking the time to listen to patients is key to improving their quality of life and health. She entered healthcare to help others and serve her community and is especially passionate about diabetes, exercise, and heart health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling.
