KenQuisha M. Moorman-Toney, APRN, FNP-C, a board-certified family nurse practitioner in geriatrics, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Spalding University. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mrs. Moorman-Toney worked with Norton Healthcare. She feels the experience has helped her provide holistic care to meet older adult patients' physical and psychosocial needs through open communication. At CenterWell, she appreciates the value-based care approach, finding it comforting to have a team of people concerned about the patient. Mrs. Moorman-Toney chose her profession because she loves caring for and assisting people with their healthcare needs. 'Establishing rapport with patients and families is vital in this field,' she asserts. 'I make it my business to assure families that we are a team in caring for the patient, which makes implementing a plan of care much smoother.' Mrs. Moorman-Toney lives by the words 'Be your authentic self” and takes pride in making a difference in people's lives. She is married and a pet parent who likes to make people smile. As a 'foodie,' she enjoys trying new local restaurants with friends and family and traveling.
